LECTURE ABSTRACT:

This interactive session focuses on encouraging the listeners to have a different perspective on their careers, prioritize the value of mental health, realize the importance of breaking the stigma of consulting mental health professionals, and have a realistic outlook on life. This makes one fall in love with themselves and their life decisions.

 

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

“A happy-go person”

Ms Revathi Mohan is a counseling psychologist, who authored multiple books and is a story therapist by passion. She runs her private clinic ‘Purple Counselling Care’, and is an active volunteer in various NGOs, Government Schools, and International Human Rights Organisation (South Zone). She is currently doing independent research on aviation psychology. 

 

 She uses stories as a medium for introspecting, diagnosing, and healing her clients. She has reached around 100,000 people through her stories, focusing on improving mental health. Her sessions are tailor-made. She has addressed entrepreneurs, medical students, finishing school girls, foodies, young couples, and other global audiences. She was also a member of the student’s syllabus framing committee (UGC sponsored - India) for two years. She has rendered interviews at promising magazines, television, and international radio channels on various topics related to mental health.
