Mr. Mustafa Khan spoke about the state of the global air transport industry, Pakistan aviation outlook and the key issues. He also highlighted the achievements and challenges facing the industry by showing an IATA video, Small World Big Future, celebrating 100 years of commercial aviation 1914—2014.
About The Speaker
Mustafa Khan is a professional with 30 years experience in the aviation industry, including over seven years with the International Air Transport (IATA) in his current capacity as Country Manager Pakistan, twenty years with Singapore Airlines as Manager Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the CIS, and three years in the hospitality industry in the United Kingdom.
He is the recipient of the Gold and Silver awards from the Director General and CEO of IATA for outstanding contribution to the industry; and was also recognized as a leader who delivered on the challenges for innovation through his paper on Frequent Flyer Program Link to Carbon Offset Programs. He has also received the SIA Deputy Chairman’s special commendation award and managing Director’s Award for Outstanding Service.
He has attended a number of United Nation’s Fund for Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) as a technical delegate on Bunker Fuels with the Pakistan delegation.
He is currently enrolled simultaneously in the Harvard-IATA and Stanford-IATA management programs.
